What is covered
If a certified avian veterinarian diagnoses a pre-existing illness or congenital defect within 30 days of delivery, you may choose a full refund, a replacement bird of equal value, or reimbursement of treatment costs up to the purchase price.
How to claim
Have your bird examined by a certified avian veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery. Submit the written exam report and any diagnostics to care@exoticbirdshop.com. Claims are reviewed within two business days.
What is not covered
Injury, illness or stress resulting from improper husbandry, unsafe household conditions (non-stick fumes, ceiling fans, other pets), dietary changes made against our transition plan, or conditions first appearing after day 30.
Lifetime rehoming commitment
Independent of this guarantee, we will always accept the return of a bird we placed, at any point in its life, at no cost to you.
