Delivery methods
We offer three options: climate-controlled cargo through major U.S. carriers (1–3 days), professional flight-nanny hand delivery nationwide (24 hours), and complimentary local pickup at our Sarasota facility.
Timelines
Most birds ship 3–7 business days after your care consultation is complete. Weather holds may delay travel when temperatures at either airport fall below 45°F or exceed 85°F — bird safety always overrides the schedule.
Costs
Ground and cargo delivery starts at $285 within the continental U.S. and is complimentary on orders above $1,500. Flight-nanny service is $650, complimentary above $2,500. Alaska, Hawaii and international destinations are quoted individually.
Packaging
Every bird travels in an IATA-approved, ventilated crate with absorbent bedding, hydration gel, a familiar food supply and a comfort item from its enclosure.
Restrictions
We ship only where the species is legal. Quaker parakeets, for example, are restricted in several states. Our team verifies your state and municipal regulations before accepting an order.
Tracking
You receive a tracking number, live flight updates and a photograph of your bird taken immediately before departure.
